Este gracioso recorte de Ilustração Portugueza dice lo siguiente: "La revista con la que el Teatro Apolo inaugura la temporada de invierno se titula 'El burro de pie'. Y después no quieren que los críticos censuren a los autores por los errores lingüísticos. Es que no es evidente que debería ser 'El burro de pata'?
This funny clipping from Ilustração Portugueza reads, "The review that opens the winter season at the Apolo Theater is entitled 'O burro em pé' Authors usually despise critics when they criticize their linguistic mistakes. Is it not obvious, then, that the title should be 'O burro em pata'? [Note: The play on words here is untranslatable into English. In Portuguese 'pé' means 'foot,' but a donkey ('burro') is said to have 'patas' ('hooves') and not 'pés' ('feet')]
